Concord College has a long tradition of teaching Science and Maths to overseas students. Science at the Summer School makes full use of three modern laboratories that are well equipped for a high level of study.
The aims of the courses are to develop skills and confidence in practical work, to stimulate interest and enthusiasm for scientific and mathematical concepts and provide a firm foundation for more advanced work through intensive study of key topics in mathematics, physics, biology and chemistry.
The courses are carefully designed for the needs of students aged 13-17 years, covering material that would lead to G.C.S.E. examinations.
Students may choose one of the following four subject combinations (B = July course, D = August Course): B1 / D1 Maths and Physics B2 / D2 Chemistry and Physics B3 / D3 Chemistry and Biology B4 / D4 Maths and Biology
